Heavenly Father, as the sun stands high, we pause at this noon hour to offer our gratitude and seek Thy guidance. We are thankful for the nourishment of the morning and the opportunities we have had to live and work according to Thy will. As we continue through the day, we ask for Thy continued presence and guidance. Grant us the energy and focus needed to accomplish our tasks and responsibilities.
Please watch over us and protect us from harm, both physical and spiritual. Help us to stay on the path of righteousness and to make choices that honour Thee.
We pray for those who may be facing challenges and difficulties at this time. May they find strength, peace, and a sense of hope in their trials.
As the world rushes around us, help us to find moments of stillness and reflection. May we use this time to recentre ourselves and to feel the peace that comes from knowing Thy love.
Bless the food we partake of at this noon hour, nourishing our bodies and sustaining our strength. Help us to be mindful of those who may be hungry and in need, and inspire us to reach out in service to those around us.
Heavenly Father, as we move forward into the afternoon, may we continue to walk in Thy light, seeking to do Thy will and to be a beacon of light for good in the world.
