Heavenly Father, I come before Thee with a humble heart, recognising my need for repentance and forgiveness. I acknowledge the errors and transgressions I have committed and the distance I may have created between myself and Thee.
I am sorry for the choices I have made that have strayed from Thy Commandments and teachings. I seek Thy forgiveness and the cleansing power of Thy Son’s Atonement.
Please grant me the strength to recognise my weaknesses and to turn away from sin. Help me to have a contrite heart, full of sorrow for the pain and disappointment I may have caused.
I plead for Thy guidance and assistance to overcome my shortcomings and to align my life more closely with Thy will. May I be filled with the desire to live in accordance with Thy teachings and to follow the example of Jesus Christ.
I ask for the power of the Holy Ghost to be with me, helping me to discern right from wrong and to choose the path of righteousness. Grant me the ability to make amends with those I may have wronged and to seek reconciliation where necessary.
Heavenly Father, I desire a fresh start, a new beginning, and the joy of knowing I am forgiven. Help me to feel the peace and love that comes with Thy forgiveness and grace.
I express my faith in Thy Son, Jesus Christ, and in His ability to cleanse me from my sins. In His name, I seek Thy forgiveness, Thy guidance, and the strength to continue my journey of discipleship. Amen.
