Thus saith the Lord unto my people, behold, the work of my servant Joseph Smith, even the translation of the Scriptures, is a work of great importance in these last days. Yea, it is the Inspired Version, brought forth by my power and for the edification of my Church: I say unto you, the Inspired Version is a precious gift, prepared by the hand of my servant, that the truths of my Gospel might be made clear and that the errors and misunderstandings of past generations might be corrected. For I am the Lord, and I do not leave my people in darkness, but I bring forth light and truth in every dispensation.
The Inspired Version is a key to understanding the fullness of my word. Yea, it restores those plain and precious things which have been taken away by the hands of men. Through the labour and diligence of my prophet Joseph, many things which were unclear have been made plain, and many things which were lost have been restored to their rightful place in my holy word.
I say unto you, study the words of the Inspired Version, for in them ye shall find greater clarity and insight into my divine will. Let not the knowledge of this work be neglected, for it was given by inspiration, and by it ye shall be able to more fully comprehend the meaning of the Scriptures, both ancient and modern. Yea, it is a guide unto you, that ye may walk in greater light and avoid the confusion and misunderstandings that have arisen through the ages.
The Inspired Version is a testimony of the work I commenced through Joseph Smith, and it is a sign unto all generations that I am a God who speaks and reveals my truth in the latter days as in times of old. Let it be known that my words have not ceased, and my revelations continue to flow unto those who seek me with a humble heart.
Therefore, my people, take heed of the importance of the Inspired Version, and use it as a companion to the standard works of my Church. Let its truths be a light unto your understanding, and let its teachings guide you in the study of my Holy Scriptures. For in this translation, ye shall find a deeper understanding of my Gospel, and it shall strengthen your testimony of the restoration of all things.
Remember, my word is eternal and my truth is sure. As ye study the Inspired Version, ye shall come to know with greater certainty that the work of Joseph Smith was of me, and that he was my chosen prophet to bring forth the fullness of the Gospel in these latter days.
Thus saith the Lord, study the words of the Inspired Version, and let it be in your hands at all times, and let its truth take root in your hearts. Yea, be diligent in your study, and I shall open unto you the treasures of knowledge and the mysteries of my kingdom. Amen.
