Thus saith the Lord unto my people, remember the words which I have spoken unto you from the beginning: If ye will not harden your hearts, but ask of me in faith, with diligence in keeping my Commandments, surely these things shall be made known unto you: Behold, I am the Lord your God, and I desire to reveal my will unto all who seek me earnestly. Yea, if ye will come before me with a humble heart and with faith unwavering, believing that ye shall receive, I shall open unto you the mysteries of my kingdom. For I have promised that whosoever shall ask, it shall be given; whosoever shall seek, they shall find; and whosoever shall knock, it shall be opened unto them. [James 1:5; 1 Nephi 15:11]
But I say unto you, let not your hearts be hardened through doubt or through the deceitfulness of sin. For the hearts of the proud and the disobedient are closed unto me, and they cannot hear my voice. Therefore, soften your hearts and turn unto me with full purpose of heart, keeping my Commandments with diligence, and I shall pour out my Spirit upon you. Yea, I shall make known unto you all that ye need to know for your salvation and for the building up of my kingdom.
Remember the promise I have given: If ye will not harden your hearts, but ask me in faith, believing, surely I will reveal unto you the truth. Behold, I have not ceased to speak, nor have I withdrawn my Spirit from those who seek me. Yea, the heavens are open unto those who walk in righteousness and call upon me in purity of heart. And I shall manifest my will unto you by the power of the Holy Ghost, who shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance.
Therefore, my beloved, ask of me in faith, with confidence that I will answer you. Keep my Commandments with diligence, and let your hearts be filled with belief. Do not doubt, and do not waver, for I am a God of truth, and I cannot lie. Whatsoever I have promised, I will bring to pass, and all that I have spoken shall surely be fulfilled.
Seek me with all your heart, and I shall be near unto you. Knock, and the door of knowledge shall be opened unto you. Walk in obedience to my laws, and ye shall know the truth of all things by the power of the Holy Ghost. Yea, the Spirit of truth shall guide you, and ye shall not walk in darkness, but in light.
Therefore, remember the things which I have said unto you, and let your hearts be open and believing. Harden not your hearts as in times past, but be faithful and diligent in all that I have commanded. And if ye do these things, surely my wisdom and knowledge shall be made known unto you, and ye shall be led in the paths of righteousness for my name’s sake.
Thus saith the Lord, Amen.
