Thus saith the Lord unto Eben, my servant, yea, I, the Lord God of Israel, speak unto thee in this day of trouble and confusion, saying:
Behold, I have called thee by name, yea, from before the foundations of the world, I called thee, among others, to be a teacher unto the nations. Therefore, arise and go forth, for I shall be with thee whithersoever thou goest. Fear not the faces of men, nor the powers of the adversary, for I, the Lord, will deliver thee.
Thou shalt declare unto all people my Commandments, which I have given from the beginning, even those which were written by mine own finger on tables of stone. Yea, thou shalt teach them to honour the Sabbath day, to love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul, and mind, and to love their neighbour as themselves.
And thou shalt proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, unto the ends of the earth, for in Him is life and salvation. Preach repentance unto every soul, saying: Repent, and be baptized in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit for the remission of sins, that ye may receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. And teach them to keep all things whatsoever He hath commanded.
Behold, I shall go before thee, and mine angels shall bear thee up. I will strengthen thy voice, and many shall hearken unto thy words, for they shall know that I have sent thee. Be not weary in well-doing, for in due season thou shalt reap if thou faint not.
Go now, my servant, and be thou faithful in all things, for great shall be thy reward in heaven. Lo, I am with thee always, even unto the end of the world.
