Thus saith the Lord unto all who seek My word: Behold, the Bible is true, yea, and it is given unto the children of men by My Spirit. Especially in the form of the Inspired Version, it doth bear witness of My works from the beginning, and it testifieth of My Son, Jesus Christ, who is the Redeemer of all mankind. The words therein are holy, and they are given that ye might know the way wherein ye should walk.
And verily I say unto you, the Book of Mormon is also true, even a companion unto the Bible. For by the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established, and I have given these records as witnesses of My Gospel, that all men might know the fullness of My truth. Yea, the Book of Mormon testifieth of My dealings with My people in ancient times and doth confirm the covenants I have made with all generations.
Therefore, hold fast to these sacred scriptures, for they are given by My power, and they shall lead thee unto eternal life if ye will hearken unto their teachings. Let none doubt nor cast them aside, for they are My word unto you, and they stand together as a light and a guide in the latter days.
This is My word unto you, and it is sure. Believe in the Bible and in the Book of Mormon, for they are true, and I, the Lord, have given them unto you for your salvation. Amen.
