Today, I am grateful for the Scriptures and for the messengers that Heavenly Father has sent throughout history. The scriptures are a precious gift, a testimony of God’s love, guidance, and promises. Through them, I learn of His dealings with His children and come to understand His character and His unending compassion for us. I see the fulfilment of His divine plan in the words of the prophets, and most importantly, I come to know His Son, Jesus Christ, whose life and sacrifice are the heart of God’s love for all His children. The words of our Scriptures inspire me to live with faith, to trust in Heavenly Father’s will, and to seek His Spirit each day.
John 3:16 speaks powerfully of this love: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” God’s love is manifest not only in Christ’s sacrifice but also in the prophets and messengers He has sent to guide us to that life everlasting. I am grateful for those who came before—ancient prophets who endured hardship to keep God’s words and modern prophets who continue to lead us in truth. Their testimonies bring me closer to Christ, my Redeemer, and remind me that Heavenly Father’s love reaches across all generations. For this gift of His word and His messengers, my heart is full of gratitude.
Morning Prayer
Our Father in Heaven, we thank Thee for the gift of Thy holy word, and for those Thou hast sent to proclaim it unto us. Grant that we may treasure the Scriptures in our hearts, that we may know Thee and Thy Son, Jesus Christ.
May Thy Spirit guide us to understand Thy will, and give us strength to walk in the path that leads to everlasting life. In the name of Thy Beloved Son, Amen.
