Heavenly Father, we come before Thee during this time of conflict and strife, seeking Thy guidance and peace in the midst of war. Our hearts are heavy with concern for the safety and well-being of those affected by these turbulent times.
We pray for the leaders of nations, that they may be inspired by Thy wisdom and guided by the principles of justice and peace. May they seek solutions that prioritise the welfare of all, and may the horrors of war be averted or brought to a swift and just conclusion.
Watch over and protect the soldiers and servicemen and women who are risking their lives for the cause of freedom and security. Grant them courage, strength, and the shield of Thy divine protection. We ask for their safe return to their loved ones and homes.
Please comfort and sustain the families and loved ones of those who are serving in harm’s way. Ease their anxieties and fears, and help them to feel Thy love and presence as they endure the separation and uncertainty of war.
Bless the innocent civilians who are caught in the crossfire of conflict. Grant them safety, sustenance, and strength to endure. May they find comfort and solace amidst the chaos and destruction.
We ask for an end to the suffering and pain that war brings, and we pray for the day when nations will “beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning hooks” in fulfilment of Thy prophetic promise.
Heavenly Father, help us to alleviate suffering and promote understanding among nations and peoples.
