Heavenly Father, we beseech Thee, our Eternal Parent giving thanks for the gift of the family. We recognise the family as a fundamental unit of society and an essential part of Thy divine plan. As we gather in prayer, we seek Thy protection and guidance for our families.
Please watch over and safeguard our families, both from physical harm and from the trials and challenges that life may bring. Protect our homes with the shield of Thy love, that they may be a refuge of peace, unity, and faith.
We ask for Thy guidance to lead our families in righteousness. Help us to instil values of love, kindness, and virtue in the hearts of our family members. Grant us the wisdom to teach and exemplify the principles of the Gospel message.
Protect our families from the influences of the world that may lead them away from Thee. Grant us discernment to recognize and resist temptation, and help us to fortify our homes with the power of prayer and scripture study.
Bless our family bonds with love, unity, and forgiveness. May our relationships be a source of strength and comfort, and may we strive to resolve conflicts with patience and understanding.
We ask for the blessings of strong marriages and parent-child relationships. Help husbands and wives to love and support each other, and guide parents in nurturing and teaching their children in a way that fosters faith and discipleship.
Heavenly Father, as we go about our lives, may our families be a lighthouse to others, drawing them closer to Thee. May the love and unity we demonstrate be a reflection of our commitment to Thee.
