5 April 1999 – Concerning Prayer

Thus saith the Lord, forget not to pray, for prayer is the lifeline of thy spirit and the means by which thou dost commune with me. I counsel thee to pray at least three times per day, that thou mayest strengthen thy relationship with me and invite my presence into thy life.

In the morning, as the sun riseth, offer thy prayers of gratitude for the gift of a new day. Seek my guidance in the path before thee, and let thy heart be filled with thanksgiving for my mercies. In the noon hour, pause amidst thy labours and lift thy thoughts unto me, asking for strength to endure and wisdom to discern. And in the evening, as the day draweth to a close, reflect upon the blessings received and seek forgiveness for any shortcomings.

For I say unto thee, prayer is a powerful tool that can draw thee closer to my heart. In the quiet moments of thy supplication, I will speak to thy soul, and my Spirit will guide and comfort thee. Do not allow the cares of the world to distract thee from this sacred practice, for in prayer, thou art strengthened and renewed.

Remember, the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much [James 5:16]. Let thy prayers be sincere and full of faith, for I am always near to hear thee. As thou commit thyself to pray diligently, I shall pour out my blessings upon thee, and thou shalt find peace in the midst of trials. Amen.
